Vivo preps X90S flagship with upcoming Dimensity 9200+
It hasn’t been long since the release of the vivo X90 series, but rumors suggest that an updated model called the vivo X90S might be coming soon. According to Digital Chat Station, this refreshed version will be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 9200+ chipset, which hasn’t been officially announced yet.
The vivo X90S will be the second phone, after the iQOO Neo8 Pro, to feature this upcoming chipset. The leakster claimed that the Dimensity’s AnTuTu score will be higher than the conventional Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, with the largest core being slightly more powerful.
It’s expected that the Dimensity 9200+ will score around 1,350,000 points on AnTuTu, which is significantly higher than the vivo X90 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra – two of the most powerful Android phones currently available. It’s worth noting that the benchmark result takes into account the CPU, GPU, memory, and UX performance, so we should expect more than just a processor upgrade when Mediatek announces their new platform.
