The Snapdragon 870-powered iQOO Neo6 will go on sale in India on May 31
It has been revealed today that the Neo6 will be released on May 31 in India, as iQOO teased last week.
However, the Neo6 that will be released in India is distinct from the one that was launched in China in April. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC powers the Chinese model, while the Snapdragon 870 will power the Indian model.
However, iQOO has only confirmed that the Indian Neo6 will be available in two colors and have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Despite the fact that there will be a variety of other memory options available.
According to iOQO, the Neo6 will support 80W charging, allowing it to charge the phone from 0% to 50% in 12 minutes using the included adapter and cable. iQOO is advertising these numbers based on lab tests where the Neo6 was charged in a room with an ambient temperature of about 25°C while the smartphone’s display and other services and functions (except calls) were turned off.
Although more information about the Indian Neo6 is expected from iQOO soon, it appears that the Neo6 SE announced earlier this month in China will be used in India.
