The One UI 4 Beta 2 is Now Available for Samsung’s Galaxy S20 and Note20 Smartphones
Along with today’s One UI 4 update to remedy latency issues on S21 family members in the US, Samsung is also pushing out a fresh new build of One UI 4 to older Galaxy S20 and Note20 series devices, but this is still in beta form.
The Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, Note20, and Note20 Ultra will all receive the One UI 4 beta 2 for Android 12 on the Exynos and Snapdragon versions of these phones. ZUKA is the final digit of the new construction.
Updates for security and bug fixes, including corrections for issues with adaptive refresh rate, Quick Share icons, and Clear View Display Cover, are included in this release. Frame rates should be faster across the board, and the Messages app’s search should be improved.
The One UI 4 beta is now rolling out to S20 and Note20 owners who signed up for the program. In order to participate in the beta testing program, you must enroll your phone via the Samsung Members app in select countries; you will then be sent the most recent beta build via over-the-air delivery. I’m crossing my fingers that this one doesn’t bring in any new bugs.
