The 5G Samsung Galaxy A54 and the F04s have been detected on Geekbench
Two unannounced Samsung smartphones were discovered in the Geekbench web database today, suggesting their official unveiling is imminent. The Galaxy A54 5G and the Galaxy F04s are the mobile devices in question.
The former will likely be a Flipkart-exclusive model, while the latter will be Samsung’s newest addition to its best-selling A5x series.
The single-core Geekbench score for the Galaxy A54 5G prototype was 776, and the multi-core score was 2,599. Android 13 (likely with Samsung’s One UI 5) was used in the tests. It is expected that an 8GB variant will also be offered alongside the 6GB model.
According to previous rumors, the processor at the helm is the S5E8835, which will replace the Exynos 1280. It’s likely that Exynos 1380 will be the official name. An eight-core processor with four performance cores at 2.4 GHz and four efficiency cores at 2.0 GHz is included. Additionally, the Mali G68 GPU is included.
The Galaxy A54 5G, as suggested by previous leaks and rumors, will have a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 6.4-inch screen at 120 frames per second, and a 5,100-mAh battery with support for 25W charging. Last month, renders showing it leaked online.
Next up is the Galaxy F04s, which, in keeping with the rest of the F series, will be an affordable entry-level device sold solely via Flipkart in India. There has also been a focus on repackaging older products under new names; it is currently unknown which model the F04s will be similar to.
Using Geekbench, the prototype only scored a paltry 163 on a single core and 944 on all cores combined. It uses a MediaTek Helio P35 system-on-chip (SoC) and a PowerVR Rogue GE8320 graphics processing unit (GPU). Unfortunately, it’s only got 3GB of RAM and can only launch with Android 12.
