Samsung has released a new Galaxy Watch4 model update
Samsung has released a software update for the Galaxy Watch4. It includes a handful of tweaks to improve the system’s overall reliability but no new security enhancements. The firmware version is R8xxXXU1GVI3, and it takes up 185 MB.
The update has begun rolling out to devices in South Korea and, barring any snags with early adopters, will likely roll out globally in the near future.
The update history shows that the security patch was released in August of 2022, the same release date as the last update. Users of the Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic should receive a notification on their linked smartphone shortly.
As early as the first week of September, the 2021 wearables were updated to the newest version of OneUI, 4.5. This update brought new watch faces, enhanced notifications, a better in-built keyboard, and additional alarm customization options.
