Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra to maintain a mostly unchanged design and dimensions
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will retain the rectangular design of its predecessor, the Galaxy S22 Ultra, and focus on other improvements. According to Ice universe, the next Ultra will be 0.1mm or 0.2mm wider, but retain its 8.9mm thickness, 5,000mAh battery capacity, and 6.8-inch 1440x3088px display.
The boxier shape of the Galaxy S22 Ultra allowed for the retention of its large battery and included a built-in S Pen.
The improvements in the Galaxy S23 Ultra will likely stem from a new chip, which is rumored to be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Samsung can also potentially improve its software through its future OneUI 5.
Rumors have suggested that the new 200MP camera sensor, the ISOCELL HP2, could use 0.60µm pixels. The rest of the cameras are expected to have the same focal lengths – 3x, 10x, and ultrawide – as in previous models with possible tweaks to their respective sensors.
