Report: Apple’s AirPods 3, Still in Manufacturing Pipeline

After a number of leaks about the AirPods 3 at the beginning of 2021, we were rather shocked Apple didn’t reveal them this week during its iPhone 13 presentation. Well, according to the Digitimes story, the TWS buds are due later this year since the firm has already begun manufacturing.

Sadly, the report is quite short and does not go into specifics and has no definite publication date. It simply states that Apple has been on track until the end of this year to release the AirPods 3 and that they would be somewhat cheaper than their predecessors, the AirPods 2, which currently amount to 159$.
