Redmi Note 11 will Have a 108-megapixel Camera When it Launches, According to Xiaomi
On Thursday, Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Note 11 series in China, and we now know more about the new lineup thanks to a leak from earlier today. Like the Redmi Note 10 Pro/Pro Max, at least one of the phones will have a 108 MP camera with 2.1 m large pixels.
Even though marketing claims about the size of individual pixels are untrue, the pixels themselves are 0.7 microns in diameter, but thanks to cutting-edge 9-to-1 technology, they can be combined into one single, larger 2.1 microns-wide pixel to better capture light and produce an improved image in certain situations.
Since the resolution is 12,000 x 9,000, the 108 MP photos will have a 4:3 aspect ratio as their default setting. Since the current Samsung HM3 platform differs slightly from the specifications the brand is promising, Xiaomi is likely to reintroduce the exact same Samsung HM2 sensor that was in previous generations of Redmi Note phones.
