Realme C55 introduced with Dynamic Island-like notifications
Realme India introduced the Realme C55 to the Indian market two weeks after its debut in Indonesia. This phone is notable for its Mini Capsule feature, which, similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island, showcases battery alerts, data usage, and notifications around the hole punch cutout on the display.
The specifications sheet lists several features, including a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a Helio G88 chipset, and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W charging. The camera setup consists of a 64MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor, while the software is powered by Realme UI 4.0, which is based on Android 13.
The Realme C55 is available in two colors: Sun Shower and Rainy Night. The 4/64GB model is priced at INR 10,999, while the 6/64GB variant costs INR 11,999. The top-end 8/128GB model will be sold for INR 13,999.
Starting from March 28 at 12 noon, the Realme C55 will be available for open sales through Realme’s website, Flipkart, and other partnered retail outlets. As part of the pre-booking campaign, customers can enjoy an INR 1,000 exchange offer. Additionally, Realme is offering a special promotion for students, which includes a free pair of Realme Buds Q2 with the purchase of a Realme C55 from any Realme exclusive store in India between March 28-31.
