The first vivo X Fold+ smartphones will be announced on September, 2022. The primary display of this phone measures 8.03 inches and features a resolution of 1916 x 2160 pixels in an aspect ratio of 21:9. The refresh rate of this display is 120 hertz. The secondary screen is a touchscreen and measures 6.53 inches in size with a resolution of 1080 x 2520. For processing power, the vivo X Fold+ relies on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU running at 1.8GHz with four 1.8GHz cores, three 2.5GHz cores, and one 3GHz core. There are 12 GB of RAM included. The Android 12 system and a 4600mAh battery power the vivo X Fold+. Wireless charging and a proprietary, rapid charging system are also available on the vivo X Fold+.

The vivo X Fold+ has a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) main camera, a 48-megapixel (f/2.2) camera, a 12-megapixel (f/2.0 ) camera, and an 8-megapixel camera on the back. The camera in the back may focus automatically. Selfies may be taken with the 16-megapixel front-facing camera, which has an aperture of f/2.5.

The vivo X Fold+ has 256GB or 512GB of internal storage and runs on OriginOS, which is based on Android 12. Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards are both supported by the vivo X Fold+, making it a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) device. The dimensions of the vivo X Fold+ are 162 x 144.9 x 6.3mm, and it weighs 311.00 grams.

Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.20, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G (including compatibility for Band 40 used by select LTE networks in India), and 5G are all available on the vivo X Fold+. The phone features a fingerprint sensor that is embedded in the screen, as well as accelerometer, ambient light, compass/magnetometer, gyroscope, and proximity sensors.
