Poco C31 arrives with Helio G35 and 5,000 mAh Battery
As the company’s most cheap smartphone, Poco sold 2.5 million devices in India since its October introduction. As promised, Poco released the C31, the company’s second phone in the C series.
As previously mentioned, the Poco C31 is equipped with a Helio G35 SoC and can support up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. This phone comes equipped with a dedicated microSD card slot that supports cards with capacities of up to 512GB.
The C31 comes pre-installed with an out-of-date version of Android, version 10, and Poco is proud to provide the phone to its clients with no adverts in the user interface.
The 6.53″ 20:9 HD+ screen of the smartphone has been certified by TUV Rheinland for use in reading mode. Additionally, a notch is present at the top of the screen for the 5MP selfie camera.
With a dual-patterned polycarbonate back, the smartphone showcases a triple camera setup with a primary 13MP sensor and secondary 2MP macro and depth sensors. The Poco branding appears below the cameras, while the fingerprint reader can be found on the right side, just below the Poco logo.
The SIM tray and ports on the C31 are protected against moisture, dust, and water splashes by rubberized seals and P2i nano-coating.
The 5,000 mAh battery of the Helio G35-powered smartphone is expected to comfortably last 1,000 charge cycles.
Available in Royal Blue and Shadow Grey, the Poco C31 will be sold through Flipkart in India beginning on October 2. INR8,499 ($115/€100) gets you 3GB of RAM, while INR9,499 ($130/€110) gets you 4GB of RAM.
However, both versions will be discounted by INR500 ($7/€6) as part of the launch deal. Additionally, customers who purchase the smartphone with their Axis Bank or ICICI Bank credit/debit cards will receive an additional 10% discount.
