OxygenOS 13 brings new water-inspired look and Android 13
The OnePlus 10T was unveiled at the same time as the release of OxygenOS 13 by OnePlus (hands-on).
A new UI and new features are expected to be included in OxygenOS 13 later this year. On the OnePlus 10 Pro and 10T, as well as the rest of the flagship line all the way down to the OnePlus 8, and on the Nord line all the way down to the Nord CE 2 Lite, the OS will make its debut (no word on availability for the Nord 2 Lite, Nord N100, Nord N200 5G, Nord N10 5G, and Nord N20 5G).
The new look of OxygenOS 13 will be inspired by the properties of water. With its Aquamorphic Design, OnePlus creates rounded icons and soft, flowing visuals.
As the day progresses, the system’s colors will darken. Bitmoji and Spotify will be integrated into the always-on display.
OxygenOS 13 will resemble ColorOS significantly. From Oppo’s operating system of choice, the Sidebar Toolbox is an app folder that you can quickly access by swiping to one side or the other. With the addition of Android 13 and OxygenOS 13, new features like spatial audio and Dolby Atmos support, Nearby Share improvements, and App Streaming will be available. Private Safe 2.0 is a password-protected area where you can keep sensitive documents and files out of the reach of other apps.
OxygenOS 13 will be available for the OnePlus 10 Pro “soon,” but no specific date has been announced by OnePlus.
