Oppo Find X5 Pro will be available in a Dimensity 9000 variant
The Dimensity 9000 chipset from MediaTek was unveiled in November, although it has yet to appear in a phone. The Oppo Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition, which will be available on February 24th, has now been confirmed to feature the Dimensity 9000 chip. For the first time ever, we’ll be able to get a phone with two high-end processors from two different manufacturers on the same device.
Initially, the Dimensity Edition of the Oppo Find X5 Pro will only be available in China, but it is likely to be rolled out in other countries as well. Cortex-X2 performance core clocks at 3.05Ghz, three Cortex-A710 cores clock at 2.85Ghz, and four Cortex A510 clusters clock at 1.8Ghz in Dimensity 9000’s core configuration. There’s ARM’s Mali-G710 on the GPU side of things, and Bluetooth 5.3 is supported by the processor.
There is no indication that Oppo’s in-house NPU processor, MariSilicone X, is going to be available on any other device.
Enco X2 wireless earbuds and the new Glacier Lake Blue color of the Oppo Watch 2 have also been teased by Oppo as part of the Find X5 range. They’ll be in-ear, and Dynaudio worked with us to make them that way.
In addition, the LHDC audio codec and Hi-Res wireless audio will be supported by them. There will be a translucent blue band on the Glacier Blue Oppo Watch 2.
