On October 17th, Redmi A1+ will go on sale in India
Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has released the Redmi A1 in India over the past month, and today they have released the Plus variant inside the Asian country. It costs INR7,499 ($91/€93) for the 2GB/32GB model and INR8,499 ($103/€105) for the 3GB/32GB model.
In spite of this, for the duration of the Diwali festival, you may get either edition for a discount of INR500 ($6/€6). Starting on October 17, you can purchase one from the official Xiaomi India website, Flipkart, Mi.com, and physical retail shops across India in Black, Light Blue, or Light Green.
Contrary to its name, the Redmi A1+ is not a fully fresh mobile device. A Redmi A1 with an additional 3GB of RAM and a fingerprint scanner on the back. The Redmi A1 is only available in India in a 2GB/32GB option, and it can be purchased from the Xiaomi India website and Amazon.in for INR6,299 (about $76 or €78).
The Redmi A1+ runs MIUI 12, which is based on Android 12, and is powered by the Helio A22 SoC. (Go Edition). It features a leather-textured back panel with a dual camera setup consisting of an 8MP primary camera and a QVGA unit in addition to a 6.52″ HD+ display that houses the 5MP front-facing camera.
The Redmi A1 Plus also has a 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged through the device’s microUSB connector at up to 10W, as well as a 3.5mm headphone input and a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion of up to 512GB.
