Nova 8i and Nova 9 from Huawei will be Available in Europe Very Soon
Though it may have given up on Europe, Huawei isn’t. According to reports, two more nova series phones will be coming to Europe in the near future. Both the nova 8i and nova 9 are expected to launch without GMS functionality, as has been the case with all recent Huawei phones, according to information obtained by WinFuture.
According to reports, the 6GB RAM/128GB storage Nova 8i will cost €350, while the 8GB RAM/128GB storage Nova 9 (which was just announced) will cost €550. There’s no news yet on when the sneakers will go on sale, so stay tuned.
Both novas come pre-installed with HarmonyOS 2 and only support 4G LTE. The only thing the two have in common is that they both use 4,300 mAh batteries and 66W fast wired charging. The Snapdragon 662 powers the Nova 8i, whereas the Snapdragon 778G in the Nova 9 is a 4G-only variant.
It has a 6.57-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 50MP camera with a RYYB pattern. The nova 9 also has a 4,300mAh battery. For the 16MP selfie camera, there’s a pill-shaped cutout on the nova 8i’s 6.67-inch LCD display, and the phone has a Mate 30 series-inspired back with a 64MP main camera.
