Nothing Phone (1) to receive Nothing Phone (2) software update in August
The Nothing Phone (2) is finally becoming official with an announcement on the 11th of July. It will be running Nothing OS 2.0 The company’s new skin for Android 13. It’s a significant release for the business and, like the title suggests the fact that it’s had about 100 developers engaged in its development in the near future. It will be the follow-up to Nothing OS 1.5 and is running on the Phone (1).
Software support is very important to us. Nothing OS 2.0 will be coming to Phone (1) users by the end of August.

Regarding that Nothing Phone (1), If you own one, you’re probably wondering what time you can expect new Nothing OS 2.0 to be available to your phone The solution, according to CEO of Nothing Carl Pei, is “by the end of August”.
It’s about a month and an hour after the debut of Nothing Phone (2), which isn’t too awful. It’s not clear what’s going be new in the new version of Nothing OS 2.0 We’ve been told that the team behind the software began from scratch when developing it. So it seems pretty interesting for certain.
Carl Pei stresses that software support is “very important” for his business, and we’re looking forward to not being forgotten as it gets time to (hopefully rapidly) upgrade both devices to the coming Android 14 version. With Android 13 rolling out, Nothing is certainly not one of the first to roll out an update to its Nothing Phone (1).
Its predecessor, the Nothing Phone (2) has already been confirmed by the official to have it’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chip with it has a 6.7″ display as well as the 4700mAh battery. It will also receive 3 years worth of Android updates as well as 4 years of security updates from the time of launch.
