Nokia’s Rugged XR20 Smartphone Makes its Way to India
As of today, Nokia XR20 pre-orders begin on October 20 and the device will go on sale on October 30 starting with pre-orders. The main selling point of the phone is its toughness, as it is water- and dust-resistant and meets the military’s MIL-STD-810H standard.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 SoC, along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, power the XR20. Gorilla Glass Victus protects the device’s 6.67-inch IPS display, which has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Gloves and wet hands don’t affect touchscreen’s functionality.
Zeiss-branded optics and a 13MP ultrawide camera with a fairly wide 123-degree field of view and an aperture of f/2.4 join the 48MP rear shooter. The front of the phone has an 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
The phone’s battery has a capacity of 4,630 mAh and supports charging at up to 18W via wired USB and 15W via wireless Qi.
Priced at INR 46,999 ($620), the Nokia XR20 comes in Granite and Ultra Blue colors and comes with freebies like the Nokia Power Earbuds Lite and a one-year screen protection plan for those who order it before October 29.
