Motorola’s Edge 30 Ultra and Edge S30 Have Passed the TENAA Test
From China’s TENAA certification site, two Motorola Edge devices have been revealed. A look at unofficial renders suggests that this is the same device that Motorola is expected to unveil, the Edge X (or Edge 30 Ultra). The Edge model is on its way to becoming the first smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 898.
An OLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 6.67-inches, 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support are among the Edge X’s features. An 8GB or 12GB RAM option and internal storage capacity of up to 256GB are also available.
Weighing 201g, it has an overall thickness of 8.4mm. 4700mAH lithium polymer battery is supported by 68.2W charging, which is expected to recharge in 15 minutes and completely within 35 minutes. Then there’s the triple camera setup, which includes a 60MP front-facing camera and a 50MP+50MP+2MP setup.
Edge S30 comes next. 6.78-inch LCD screen with FHD + and 120Hz refresh rate. There’s also an optical zoom of 10x on this one, powered by the Snapdragon 888+ processor. The other camera’s specifications are not given. Side-mounted fingerprint scanner and 4700-mAh battery included.
It was recently reported by DigitalChatStation that Motorola would announce two new flagships next month.
