More Metallic and Rubberized Finishes are Being Brought Back by the Xbox Design Lab

Microsoft temporarily halted the production of Xbox Design Lab-customized controllers prior to the launch of the Xbox Series X. After a brief absence, rubberized grips have returned to the Design Lab.

They are available in black for the back case and side grips, respectively. The controllers have also been given a fresh new look.

19 new metallic finish colors have been added by Microsoft. For $69, you can get a custom controller, but you’ll have to wait for three to four weeks. Most of Europe and the United States are covered by the service.
