In iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6, Apple has released bug patches and new live sports capabilities
In the form of iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6, Apple has released a new update for compatible iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches today. Since iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 are scheduled for September releases, this could be the last upgrade to the 15.x branch.
Until then, let’s check out what iOS 15.6 has in store for your iPhones and iPads. First off, a number of bugs have been fixed, such as one that would cause Settings to incorrectly report that the device’s storage is full even though it wasn’t, another that would cause braille devices to become unresponsive when attempting to navigate text in Mail, and yet another that would cause tabs in Safari to automatically revert to a previous page.
In addition to this, the TV app has been updated to provide the ability to rewind, fast forward, pause, and resume a live sporting event that has already begun.
The latest versions of iOS (15.6) and iPadOS (15.6) can be downloaded and installed from the respective app stores.
