In February, the First Dimensity 9000-powered Smartphones Will Go on Sale

Although MediaTek introduced its 4nm Dimensity 9000 SoC ahead of Qualcomm, Snapdragon 8 Gen1-powered smartphones will be available sooner than MediaTek’s offerings.

Dimensity 9000’s first cellphones are expected to ship in February, according to a Weibo tip. As a contrast, flagships using Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipsets are projected to join the market in 2021. The chipset is expected to be included in the Xiaomi 12 when it launches in December.
