Huawei announced today the official launch date for its next flagship smartphones. The Mate 50 series will be introduced on September 6 in China, and according to rumors, we can expect to see at least four phones—the Mate 50E, vanilla Mate 50, the Porsche Design RS model, and a Pro variant.
Huawei is also expected to announce XMage, its own imaging engine, at the event. XMage is supposed to replace Leica in the development of a photo-enhancing algorithm that brings us stunning night photos.
In July, Huawei introduced the MatePad Pro 11, a new model of its Windows tablet. Now we expect to see a larger 12.4” version with dual cameras.
