Google records people’s reactions to the Pixel 7 Pro on camera and announces when pre-orders can be placed
New video part of Google’s ongoing promotional/teaser effort for its next devices. That’s not surprising, because Google has been teasing the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro in some form since May. This video, however, is a little bit… unusual.
You’re witnessing people’s initial, maybe first-ever, impressions on the Pixel 7 Pro. Good and proper, however up until the very end, you and I can only see the individuals and their emotions, but not the phone itself.
Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal, but Google has already previewed the Pixel 7 Pro several times, so this isn’t the first time we’ve seen it. It has a special section in its online store, complete with pictures of all three colorways.
In any case, the watch exists (spoiler alert: you won’t find out what it is until the very end), and it will be properly introduced on October 6 alongside the two new Pixels. The devices can be pre-ordered beginning the day of the event. This has been speculated about since early August, and the fine print in the video serves as Google’s official confirmation of the change.
