Certification of a 15W charger for the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G
We have no reason to doubt that the situation will be similar in 2022 with the next Galaxy A53 5G, which will be part of Samsung‘s A53 series. A prototype of this phone has been discovered in a benchmark database, disclosing some of its specifications.
The 15W charger that came with it has also been certified by 3C. In a rather depressing development, this means that in 2022, Samsung’s best-selling device will not include a rapid charging feature. Possibly in the future. Maybe next year, given most of its competitors already have quicker chargers.
The Galaxy A52, A52 5G, and A52s 5G from last year all supported 25W charging, but the included charger only had a 15W output. No reason to believe that the scenario will be any different this time around. At the very least, you have the option of charging more quickly, but Samsung’s decision to omit a 25W charger from the box seems petty at this point.
Previous rumored specifications include an Exynos 1200 processor, 6GB of RAM, Android 12, a 120 Hz AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and an in-display fingerprint sensor. A quad-camera setup on the back is also expected.
