As the Launch Date Approaches, an Official Image of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has Surfaced Online
As recently as September, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 first appeared on the market, followed by the release of its detailed specifications. There will be an affordable 10.5-inch tablet with a $260 price tag, according to reports.
First official image of the slate was found by leaker Evan Blass, and here it is:
Dolby Atmos speakers will be placed around the sides of the 10.5″ LCD (16:10) with 60 Hz refresh rate, according to the leaked specifications. There are also two USB-C ports and an audio jack on the tablet, which is made of aluminum.
The Unisoc Tiger T618 was confirmed in a Geekbench result yesterday, and it will power the device. One result is the Wi-Fi only model SM-X200, while the other, the LTE version, is called SM-X205.
Having said that, when can we expect the Galaxy Tab A8 to be available? Tab A8 mass production is expected to begin in mid-December, while Tab S8+ and S8 Ultra slates will begin mass production in late January, according to Ross Young (CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants). As such, a January or February launch date for the new Tab A8 is a reasonable expectation.
